I am making available a preview of my new English translation of the Science of Logic. It includes the entire Qualität section, the Schein chapter, the opening of the Doctrine of Concept, and unfinished portions of the other chapters.

Version History

• 06-09-2024 - Changed the translation of Dasein from ‘entity’ to ‘there-being’. I think ‘Dasein’ should be understood as being + the demonstrative pronoun in general: the root of this, that, there, then, etc.
• 06-08-2024 - Changed the translation of Dasein from ‘existence’ to ‘entity’. Translated the opening of the Subjectivity section.
• 06-05-2024 - First version.
